Updated: Sep 28, 2022

KPM Power is now a certified Ontario Living Wage Network (OLWN) Employer! We are thrilled to be able to support our employees in all aspects of life and that begins by providing the living wage.

KPM Power is now a certified Ontario Living Wage Network (OLWN) Employer! The living wage reflects the regional wage level that allows individuals to afford adequate shelter, food, and other necessities. A living wage should not be confused with minimum wage. Instead, it is the hourly wage a working person must earn to cover those previously mentioned expenses so they can participate actively in the community. The living wage is calculated based on the real costs in a given city therefore each region varies.

Being OLWN certified means that we have committed to paying all direct and indirect employees the minimum living wage for Toronto.

"We believe every individual has the right to reach their potential, both personally and professionally. As an employer, if you can support employees reaching their potential, there’s no doubt everyone wins in the end! - Peter Sie, Vice President, Finance at KPM Power
